Arabic Locker is both a flashcard and quiz app that is designed to help enthusiasts and beginners alike to practice and learn nearly 4,000 basic and most commonly used words and phrases in the Arabic language based on the Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) literary standard. Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is the literary standard used all across the Middle East and North Africa (e.g. Egypt, Iraq, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Syria, etc) and is one of the official six languages of the United Nations. Most printed matter in the Arab League—including most books, newspapers, magazines, official documents, and reading primers for small children—is written in MSA.
