“Mi Vista” is your Personal Safety App for mobile devices. Mi Vista has features and functions that are used to gather vital information in the event of an emergency situation. At the push of one button valuable information is immediately sent to up to 5 of your pre-selected emergency contacts. Further pre-entered information as well as your location are sent in the event of an emergency. Your contacts and vital information can be changed at any time. Upon sending this information, the picture is not retrievable on the sender’s device, nor is there any evidence that an emergency alert was sent. This eliminates any possible offender from viewing, destroying or having any knowledge of any vital information that has been collected and sent. This one button operation sends the information to your emergency contacts for safe storage.

This application is designed to act as a deterrent and prevent wrongs against other people. The offender will not know if any information has been collected or sent, therefore making it safer not to offend at all.

Mi Vista, provides a means of Social Interaction, whilst bringing Personal Security to its users.

1. Emergency mode.
Mi Vista enables you to take a picture of an event where you may require emergency assistance. This picture along with a GPS location and a pre-entered safety word are sent to your emergency contacts at the press of one button.

Once the information has been sent there is no visible record of this transmission on your device.

In the event that you have sent a picture by mistake, or if an emergency has been averted or resolved, you can enter a pre-selected 4 digit pin code into the application. With this action, Mi Vista sends a message to your emergency contacts that the emergency was either a false alarm or the situation has been averted or resolved.

If you are under duress and being forced to recall an Emergency Alert that has been sent to your emergency contacts, you can enter any other 4 digit combination, besides your actual pin code and Mi Vista will operate as if the correct code had been entered, however Mi Vista will inform your emergency contacts that the incident is now critical.

Additionally Mi Vista enables you to enter a safety word. The safety word is sent to your emergency contacts along with your other Emergency information.
In the event that your emergency contact calls you after receiving the alert you can mention the safety word during the conversation. This would alert your emergency contact that you are under duress and in need instant assistance.


1. Medical mode.
Mi Vista can also be used to alert your emergency contacts in ther event that you need medical assistance. You can switch Mi Vista into medical mode before sending an alert and Mi Vista will send a medical alert along with vital pre-entered medical information to your emergency contacts as well as a picture and GPS location. This enables your contacts to alert the emergency services of your location and provide them with vital medical information.

Mi Vista also has a social mode, which enables you to send messages and pictures to any contact on your Mi Vista contact list. This mode enables you to socially interact with your contacts at any time, and with a left swipe of the screen or a shake of your mobile device Mi Vista can return you to emergency mode in the event of a sudden emergency. This is an important function of Mi Vista as it saves valuable time in the event of an emergency. When using Mi Vista in Social mode you are able to allow your contact to track you via GPS tracking. This is useful when traveling alone from one location to another and being concerned about your safety. Mi Vista marks the path taken by the user on the map to narrow down any search area for authorities in the event of the user becoming lost, injured, abducted or worse
