Bhagavadgita (song of God) or Srimadvagbdgita or Gita is a 5-verse Hindu scripture. It is a part of the ancient Sanskrit epic Mahabharata. Although the Gita has the status of a distinct scripture as well as a separate Upanishads. Hindus consider the Gita to be a profane word of God. Gita holds a special place in the history of Hinduism, philosophy and literature. The content of the Gita is a conversation between Krishna and the Pandava prince Arjun.
