The SINESP Citizen is a module of the National Public Safety Information System that allows the Brazilian citizens direct access to services of the National Secretariat of Public Security of the Ministry of Justice.

The Sinesp Citizen consists of several modules:

- Consultation Vehicles: lets citizens see the situation of robbery or theft of any vehicle in Brazil. The information is consulted directly in the database of the National Traffic Department (DENATRAN);

- Warrant of Arrest Query: allows any citizen to consult arrest warrants pending compliance and current with the purpose of assisting the police. The information is found at the National Bank of Arrest Warrants (BNMP) the CNJ;

- Missing Query: provides the citizen consultation tool for missing persons. The information is consulted directly from INFOSEG which includes records disappearances carried out by the Civil Police of the participating States.

Note that in cases of positive feedback for the vehicle theft or to the arrest warrant, the citizen should immediately inform the police over the phone 190 and not try any kind of attitude like approach or approach on their own.
