About Jowell

Joel A. Muñoz Martinez was born in Springfield, Massachusetts state on 3 March 1982. At the age of 7 he became interested in rap music, listening and doing imitations of his idol and that of many: Vico-C. In 1994 when I was in 7th grade she had its first opportunity to demonstrate their talent, singing in a competition won first place and since then discovered his talent for songwriting, which to this day remains doing.

 In 1996 he had his first opportunity to record for an album of Rap & Reggae being "The Fugitive" the first of his many attempts to shine in this music. Also during this time he recorded with renowned DJs as DJ Dicky, DJ Black and DJ Flavor among others.

 It was not until 1997 that he could participate in his first production of various artists called THE WHITE produced by the sister of DJ Nelson, Lissette Martinez, under the rhythm of Dj Stefano and duet with who was one of his first duets: Baby Killer. In 1998 he is given the opportunity to record alone and participate in the production BABY69 thanks to the efforts of Jorge Guadalupe (Goguito Diririri).
