Allah سبحانه وتعالى‎ says in the Quran about the purpose of creation (s.51, v.56) : "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.". So to fulfill this noble purpose we must worship Him alone, it means that acts of worship to Allah سبحانه وتعالى alone can bring us near Him. But how can we worship Him without authentic knowledge ? Indeed, knowledge is the basic requirement for the acts of worship and as the Messenger of Allah صلي الله عليه وسلم told us, islamic knowledge is a way to paradise : "Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him." As the Messenger of Allah صلي الله عليه وسلم taught us, we ask Allah for beneficial knowledge and seek refuge with Allah from knowledge that is of no benefit.
