After upgrading to Google Maps application to version v7, Google has removed some features from Maps, and for this reason some phones may not work more regularly with this application.

I apologize for the inconvenience, although dependent on Google, and I can inform you that if you contact me I can instruct you in a simple workaround that you can run the application.
Please do not give low marks for this, but wait a bit 'for the solution, or if it seems, Maps reinstate some of the functions we need.

Instructions : start the application just before you get to the place where we leave the car. This arrangement allows the internal GPS on the phone to find the coordinates. The time of transposition of the coordinates, varies with the time of GPS fix, which is very variable in the mobile phone. Some phones also employ whole half-hour without ever finding it (eg some Samsung Galaxy S or S2) other phones employ a few minutes, others only a few seconds.
Once parked, and acquired the coordinates, you can simply press SAVE coordinates, and the coordinates will be saved for later retrieval.
When we find our car, simply press "RITROVAMI!" to start managing google maps, which indicate the point where the car was parked, taking the position from the GPS coordinates previously saved. From google maps, you can (for phones that have the feature enabled) also trigger the navigation on foot or by car to the point where the machine is located, to recover it.

Nothing could be easier right?

Plus does not run any banner, nor those extra applications of the stock Android system. Everything is totally grauito and simple to use.
