Safecast:Drive is an app that will connect with your bGeigie Nano - as long as you have the Bluetooth LE module installed - and will display all its data on screen, as a graph and as a map.

You can record your drives in Safecast:Drive, and upload them to Safecast directly, no need to remove your MicroSD card anymore!

Safecast:Drive is compatible with the bGeigie Nano, as well as the "Onyx" geiger counter, which was designed for Safecast, released as a Kickstarter in 2013 and is currently being sold by International Medcom. You will need a phone or tablet that supports USB On-the-go (OTG) as well as an OTG adapter cable.

bGeigie Note: this app was tested with and supports the "BLEBee" by mkroll.mobi version 2.0 with firmware 2.0.1 or later. Please make sure you are using this module. If you are using another model, get in touch!

Onyx Note: the Onyx is designed for USB power and charging, which means that your phone will start charging it as soon as it is connected, and thus use a lot of battery. For this reason, you should either use a dual-power OTG cable with an external power source, or be aware that your phone battery life will be severely impacted when connected to the Onyx.
