There is no server to setup or 'friction' for you to realize value - just download and go! You can connect to other people and connect directly to any CIP device via EtherNet/IP in the Device Status module. Reading and Trending drive parameters and controller tags is currently supported with the Allen Bradley Logix-based controllers (CompactLogix & ControlLogix) and PowerFlex drives without the need of an OPC server in between. Depending on a module’s feature set, it can either operate in a connected to cloud or offline/disconnected to cloud/device state – even a mix of these states. Additional capabilities are available to subscribers, like multi-pen trending, push notifications from FactoryTalk® Alarms & Events, FactoryTalk® Analytics for Devices (aka Shelby) as well as from multiple teams and more.
