Alaska Fishtopia was built to be an easy way to access all the information we want for our Alaska outings. With the tides page you will get immediate tidal information for the day. Currents: While tides tell us water height and the associated high/low time of day, currents tells us the speed at which the water is moving to those heights. Fish Counts: Knowing when to fish is the single most important factor when it comes to catching fish! Our Fish count page gives you accurate counts of fish coming up our many rivers and tracks many different species of fish. This information is provided by the Alaska Department of Fish & Game using river based sonar and made easy to use through Alaska Fishtopia app. What’s Hot!: The What’s Hot! Section is a list of recommended activities and events that will be within 3 days of the day’s date. Available selections are the area to fish, type of boat, type of fish to target including combo’s, how many seats are needed, willing price, and whether you want a half-day morning, half-day afternoon or full day.
