ReadAble Storiez is focused on children between the ages of 4 to 6 years old (pre-K through 1 st grade). This app provides “reading aloud” opportunities to young students through technology, and uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to perform assessments of reading concepts and evaluation of reading accuracy and fluency. The current version of ReadAble Storiez incorporates accurate conversion and comparison of a child’s verbal responses while they read passages aloud, taking into account variations in non-standard speech patterns while evaluating and integrating a suite of verbal/non-verbal cueing tools for engagement. In addition, reading games are incorporated for providing opportunities to improve literacy skills through practice.
