We have in our hands a book entitled "The Moral of the Muslim", by the Islamic writer and thinker, Muhammad Al-Ghazali, published by the Cairo-based Dar Al-Rayyan Heritage, in the year 1987 AD, in 239 pages.

The book, as its author says, is a text from the Holy Qur’an and the noble Prophet’s Sunnah, directing the Muslim to the virtues by which his religion is fulfilled, and with which he reconciles his worldly life and beyond.

The book, as is usually the case al-Ghazali, came in the form of articles of the nature of thoughts that deal with practical situations in a person’s life and the role of religion in guiding man’s pursuit of them.

Al-Ghazali begins his book by talking about the pillars of Islam and the principles of morality, and how the weakness of creation is evidence of the weakness of faith, the role of ethics in creating a better world for man, and the human instinct between good and evil.

Then he addressed a system of ethics that a Muslim must strive to adhere to.

The list included what is related to the beds, and what concerns the behavior and public.

This system included honesty, honesty, loyalty, sincerity, etiquette of conversation, safety of the chest from hatred, good choice of friends, mercy, the need to use time, patience, dream and forgiveness, generosity and generosity, unity of attitude among Muslims, knowledge and reason.
