Most of the pink/brown/white noise apps for Android are actually just looping MP3 files. This project generates real noise randomly, and applies various filters to shape the sound. As well as producing sound this app also has generative graphics (thousands of particles generated from a Perlin Noise flow field) that are energised by the audio frequency bands received by the microphone. The audio can be turned off so the app displays reactive graphics to environmental noise.
