The Korean Academy of Clinical Pharmacy has been central to the development of clinical pharmacy in Korea since the College of Pharmacy was reorganized into a 2 + 4 system in 2011. In addition, the Korean Society of Clinical Pharmacy is taking a new leap forward to strengthen education and research capabilities in the rapidly changing new health care environment such as the times of the 4th Industrial Revolution.

In the meantime, the Korean Society of Clinical Pharmacy has carried out projects such as publishing journals, compiling textbooks, and developing practical hands-on textbooks so that its members can play a more professional and leading role in the fields of study, education, and practice. Following this development, from 2017, we will publish the newsletter “CPLAN” to provide up-to-date information on issues such as clinical pharmacy issues as well as various news from members and 35 pharmacy universities and related institutions nationwide. This will be used as a positive tool for more active and smooth communication.

In order for “CPLAN” to be a window for communicating various opinions together, the active interest and participation of all members is of paramount importance. We ask for your interest and participation so that the contents of the Korea Clinical Pharmacy Society are gathered one after another to become a valuable history and asset of our society.
