Ten cards are dealt for each players. Two players now have arrange cards in to melds and deadwoods. Melds are combination of three or more cards of either same rank or cards with ascending order. Any left overs cards are considered as deadwood. Each cards carries a value as follows: Ace - 1point Number cards (2 - 10) - same point as their rank Face cards (J, Q, K) - 10 points. The objective of the Gin Rummy game is to make melds. If any cards cannot be made in to melds, it is considered deadwood which value will be added to other deadwood cards. At the end of the round, the player with less deadwood values wins the round. Then next round starts and unless either player score of 100 or more points.
