About Sheikh Al-Zain Muhammad

“A pure Sudanese recitation, the splendor of which is evident when you hear it, a voice that pumps the meanings into the arteries of the heart, and the soul descends in reverence, a sense of flowing with the words, and you have the meaning before thinking about it.” Thus was described by Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Al-Zain, one of the symbols of reciting the Qur’an in Sudan who provided the Qur’an with several records Radio and television.

Sheikh Al-Zain Muhammad Ahmad Al-Zain was born in the month of July 1982 in the village of Al-Buniya in the locality of Amwara, from the state of North Kordofan, Sudan. From his studies in primary school, that is, at the age of ten, he also obtained leave from the Sheikh of Al-Azhar’s Readers in September 2009.

Muhammad Al-Zain is considered as an extension of many Sudanese voices that were adorned with the Holy Qur’an, such as Sheikh Awad Omar, Sheikh Siddiq Ahmed Hamdoun, and Sheikh Abdul Latif Al-Awad, may God have mercy on them.

Sheikh Al-Zain’s recitation was approved for broadcasting it through the Holy Quran Radio in Sudan. He was also appointed as the Imam of Sayyidah Sanhori Mosque in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, so that Muhammad Ahmad Al-Zein would be a model for contemporary Muslim youth "who is diligent in his life and religion."
