Dutch ID cards with model number 012 can use this BZK-ID app to check whether the built-in chip can be read.

The check is done in 4 steps:
- Install and open the app.
- Enter the 6-digit code
- Place the phone on the ID card to read the chip.
- Read the result from the screen.

The BZK-ID app rights explanation:
- No personal data is collected.
