Mountains without borders PL-SK - these are the Bieszczady and the Low Beskids on both sides of the Polish-Slovak border. The application contains all tourist routes and several hundred sightseeing attractions in the Subcarpathian section of the border. It allows you to find yourself everywhere, plan any route and navigate it thanks to a unique set of maps: topographic, aerial, terrain, as well as the Open Street Map. Unique and useful functions are available: altitude indication and distances for any location, download offline maps and detailed trail data. On the website of Góra Without Borders (gorybezgranic.pttk.pl) you will find even more maps - including the Compass tourist map of the whole area. There you can also plan the route of the trip, which you can easily transfer to the application. It uses the same data about facilities and routes that are presented on the map and on the tourist portal at http://gorybezgranic.pttk.pl The application allows you to: route and navigate along routes, use various maps, download OSM maps offline, trails and elevation data, see all information about a given route or POI, read distance and azimuth to any place and its altitude, share your position , check the weather forecast for any place, see the places of interest in the area on the map, navigate the route created with the map page, save and share your favorite places and routes, as well as save the traveled route and export it to a file. You can also load your .gpx file and navigate by it. Each hiking trail presented in the application is assigned to nearby sightseeing and natural sites (landscape parks, reserves, water reservoirs, etc.) and other attractions attractive to tourists. You can also find here a lot of information about the villages and towns through which the routes run. The project of the Mountains Without Borders aims to promote active tourism in the border area, with particular emphasis on making available and popularizing cross-border routes. This project is part of a wider cross-border cooperation of many partners, which is to ultimately lead to the full integration of the network of tourist routes. within the entire arc of the Carpathians with the Sudetes - connections into one system of routes of both the Slovak, Polish and Czech borderlands. The current project is the first stage of this consolidation, and its message is the idea of ​​hiking in the Carpathians (regardless of which country), and its basic message is "freedom in the mountains", and therefore also freedom from state borders. Only PTTK hiking routes are routes administered by PTTK. PTTK is not responsible for the condition of tourist routes marked out by other institutions or organizations. Due to the extent of the trail network and its constant changes in the terrain, not all data may be up-to-date all the time.
