The Portuguese Language Orthographic Agreement of 1990 is an international treaty signed in 1990 with the goal of creating a unified orthography for the Portuguese, to be used by all Portuguese-speaking countries. It was signed by officials from Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and Sao Tome and Principe in Lisbon on December 16, 1990.
