Application of the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection Fri. "The air quality in Poland" presents current data on air quality automatic monitoring stations operating within the State Environmental Monitoring (SEM). The data relate to current concentrations of PM10, PM2.5 particulate matter, sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), carbon monoxide (CO), benzene (C6H6) and ozone (O3).
The measurement results are given in the form of an index - six level scale (from "very good" to "very bad"), relating to the potential impact of pollution on health.
Information about air quality are presented in the form of maps, graphs and lists the detailed results.
KEY FEATURES:
• With access to the internet and location-based services included in the application shows data from the nearest measuring station or other selected stations.
• The application sends push notifications in the event of exceedances inform or alert pollution and on the occasion of the publication of new news portal GIOŚ air quality.

The data presented in the application come from a national database of air quality GIOŚ fed by data from the databases of provincial inspectorates of environment protection. Updated each hour based on data recorded from SEM measurement stations.

Presented by the application data come only with automatic monitoring stations SEM and are not interpolated.

The data presented are before the final verification and are subject to change. The data are presented in local time.

The use of GPS running in the background can increase battery consumption. The application requires an Internet connection. Using packet data may result in additional charges.
