The application allows you to view the latest images processed meteorological satellites to the steam channels of water, infrared and visible in a simple and enhanced image format, and you can choose the type of projection (South America or Global) and the image resolution . Also, they are being made available some products derived from satellite data, such as ultraviolet index (UVI) and sea surface temperature.
To monitor the areas of potential occurrence of precipitation, MAPSat application offers the latest images from weather radars around the country, belonging to the network of DECEA / REDEMET, Cemaden and IPMet / Unesp.
For most maps, you can view animations with up to 24 images.
In view of the lower bar of each map, the user has resources to share, download image, product animation and informative text with technical details about the displayed product.

This application makes use of Google Maps Android API for viewing the maps in the Radar functionality.
