Description of Basketball Bodyweight Exercise

This is just one of several basketball apps - part of the Basketball PRO membership.




Become stronger and more athletic for basketball, without using any weights or equipment -- just your body weight!

To play basketball at a high level you need to be able to jump high, be quick and fast, and have good overall strength. Having this athletic advantage makes the game easier offensively and defensively. This program helps you get faster, stronger, and develop your vertical leap WITHOUT the use of machines or exercise equipment. These routines utilize only your bodies weight to provide the resistance needed to build muscle. Additionally the workouts utilize plyometric, flexibility and quickness footwork training.

The workouts are for both guards and forwards.

If you are a younger athlete between the ages of 10 - 14, you SHOULD NOT be training with weights in a gym. Using weights at that age can be dangerous. However, if you still want to be strong and athletic, then this is a good alternative.
